HEART/NSTA Trust certified skills training with hands-on work in our campus businesses. Registration is ongoing.
St. John Bosco Vocational Training Centre offers a diverse range of skills training programmes designed to prepare individuals for meaningful employment both locally and internationally.
Many of these programmes are offered in partnership with the Human Employment and Resource Training Trust/National Training Agency (HEART/NSTA Trust), enabling students to earn regionally recognized certifications that open doors in tourism, hospitality, agriculture, services, and beauty industries.
Students at the Centre have the unique opportunity to learn and work on the same campus, gaining hands-on experience through our various business enterprises. This practical, real-world exposure complements classroom learning and equips students with the skills, confidence, and work ethic needed to succeed.
Many students choose to pursue multiple skill areas, graduating as multi-skilled professionals. Throughout the journey, students receive expert instruction, ongoing mentorship, and opportunities to refine their craft in a supportive environment.
The following programmes are currently being offered:
Trainees will learn about food safety, preparing foods according to specific dietary and cultural needs, knife skills and more.
Practicums are completed in a modern on-site kitchen facility.
Trainees will learn essential techniques for manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, and nail art.
Practicums are completed in a nail care room consisting of multiple nail care stations and stocked with industry supplies and equipment.

Trainees will gain in-depth agricultural knowledge and learn about modern farming techniques that are essential for successful crop cultivation and maximising yields while emphasising sustainable and eco-friendly techniques.
